Reality 3D is a partner with Aurasma a free platform that brings AR to anyone who has access to an Apple or Android mobile device. Aurasma Lite is free to download and you try it out for yourself by clicking on the relevant links on the right. Installing the App and following the simple instructions on the screen.
If its free, where does Reality 3D come in?
As developer partners, Reality 3D have access to a portal to create, manage and design bespoke Apps. If your company wanted to use AR at an exhibition for example, then Reality 3D would manage the content, which could be hundreds of "Auras". These "Auras" could be video footage, specially shot for that event, or from your stock, 3D animations or virtual presenters. All this content can, if necessary, be produced by us in house. It is then managed via the online portal. That is to say, which "aura" appears with which "Trigger".
You might want several products on display to act as triggers. As a visitor to your stand scans their phone across the display, relevant information to each different product will pop up on their screen. Your content or Auras are placed into a "channel" via the portal. These channels can be set to "public" (everyone with the app can view the Auras) or "private" (only viewers subscribed to your channel can view the Auras).
Distribution of subscriptions to channels are done via a link that can be emailed to anyone you want to invite to experience the AR if the channel is private. We create the link via the portal and send it to you for distribution.
As we are in control and everything is done via "Aurasma Central", changes are fairly instant. Why not consider changing your Auras daily? Or change the trigger daily? Use the front page of a daily newspaper as the trigger and amaze your collegues when your advert replaces front page news.
