3D Set Design
Digital Design & Media offer a 3D set design service that covers; conference, exhibition, awards & fashion shows.
Unlike traditional 2D layouts, the 3D software produces a "model" not just plan and elevation drawings. From this model an infinite number of views can be shown from anywhere round or within the model. This is useful if a "sightline" query needed to be addressed. This also means that a "fly around" video can be exported showing several views of the design even before textures and lighting is added for rendering photo realistic images. Notation and dimensions can be added to the model as they would in 2D applications. Even venues floor plans can be used to model up the environment where your design would be placed adding to the perception of scale.
As the drawing is a "model" the design can be used to produce visuals for the client to view, without the need to start afresh.
Click on "Photo Realistic Rendering" to see how the models could look after materials and lighting is added.
We can also supply; table plans, seating and staging layouts as plan views to submit to the venue.
